First off i have to say this one thing. My good friend and brother Owen has officially been sworn in to the Navy. I want to say thank you for everything, we have had great times together and i hope to see you after i graduate from the academy. until then, best of luck to you and don't do anything too stupid without me.

Ok, well i think i've officially settled in. As we close in on a month i'm am starting to get a schedule. Wallo's 2012 was amazing, and i've been going to gigs that my host brother plays in. So long story short, things have been a blast! I've been able to play with my host brother and father....amazing. To play with musicians who have a couple years under their belt is just a great experience. My host father is giving me pointers and teaching me new things, and in just this short amount of time i've seen my skill increase drastically. I hope ill be able to play with them at least once before i return to the US. I am trying to learn the language the best i can but the only thing that will work is time. So i have to be patient and just wait for it to come to me. School continues to kick me in the butt, and i just sit in class with no idea what is going on(with the exception of Math, Physics, and of course English for obvious reasons). So as the days continue i will continue to try to learn as much as i can. Hope the states are doing well and i wish the best for all of you! Au Revoir pour maintenant!!!
